We all deal with risk. Some we accept and handle on our own terms and some risk is transferred to companies with the actuarial experience and financial resources to meet that risk.
Bankruptcy due to health related cost is the number one risk in the United States. Thus, health insurance is the product that mitigates this risk. How to deal with disability, premature death and inflation are next. Disability Income, Life insurance and retirement plans protect people, not things.

Now, I would like to tell you a little about myself, explain our goals and show you how I serve my clients and help them attain their goals.
I earned my Bachelors in Business Administration in Marketing at the University of South Carolina. I needed a degree for the Air Force and having sold just about everything a kid can sell marketing seemed a natural choice. Went to pilot training and flew tankers and command post aircraft for 15 of my 20 years. I’ve served as safety officer, executive officer, planner, operations officer, scheduler and was Chief of Flight Operations and Specialized Safety for the Defense Logistics Agency in Atlanta. I oversaw and flew with the people who taught our nation’s test pilots and many other programs vital to our national defense.
My wife, Cheryl had followed me around for 20 years and now I stayed put as she built the dialysis unit at Rapid City Regional Hospital. My two boys attended the School of Mines before moving to Minneapolis to continue their education.
I sold life insurance and mutual funds for Prudential. I moved to Cummings and Roll where I specialized in employee benefits and began working property and causality side of the business. With a little P&C experience went to Hot Springs to manage an agency for Bank of the West (BW Insurance) -- Agency of the Year in 2006 -- BW operates over 50 agencies. I managed Great Western"s agency in Rapid City before the bank sold the agency. I
operate AHB Insurance.
