Kelly Marker has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Counseling and is a licensed counselor for the State of South Dakota. She is a monthly contributor to the Rapid City Journal’s health section and has spoken for various seminars, conferences, and workshops. As a counselor for Behavior Management Systems, Kelly is dedicated to honoring and supporting individuals and families, of diverse backgrounds, to meet the challenges of life with grace, dignity, and better long-term results.
Kelly has joyfully celebrated many momentous occasions in her life as well as experienced the frustration, anger, fear, doubt, and overwhelming demands that are a part of one’s journey. Her life goals are to live an authentic life and seek peaceful, respectful solutions to life’s challenges.
Kelly feels blessed to share this journey with her husband of 21 years and four incredible children, ages 11 to 19. She is passionate about her family and loves to cook, hike, and dig in the dirt (aka garden). Kelly believes that everyone could learn a lesson from her yellow lab, Beau, about truly living in the moment and a daily nap in the sun.
